Makers Technology LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates RevealEstate.ai and the Reveal Estate mobile application (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and brokerage affiliation when you create an account.
Professional Information: Real estate license details, MLS ID, and Instagram handle.
Preferences: Your posting preferences, preferred notification times, and content tone settings.
Content Edits: Any modifications you make to generated post text before publishing.
Information from Third-Party Services
Instagram / Meta: When you connect your Instagram account, we receive your Instagram user ID, username, and an access token that allows us to publish content on your behalf. We do not access your Instagram direct messages, follower lists, or private content.
MLS / IDX Data: We receive real estate listing information (property details, photos, pricing, status) from MLS systems and IDX feeds associated with your brokerage.
Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: When you use our mobile app, we collect device identifiers and push notification tokens to deliver notifications.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as posts viewed, posts published, and feature usage.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Service, including generating social media content from listing data
- To publish content to your connected social media accounts when you approve it
- To send you push notifications and SMS messages about new content ready for review
- To coordinate team engagement features within your brokerage
- To improve the Service and develop new features
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Social Media Account Data
Instagram Integration
When you connect your Instagram Business account to the Service, we store an encrypted access token that allows us to publish posts on your behalf. We store the Instagram post IDs of content published through our Service to enable team engagement features. We do not read, store, or access your existing Instagram posts, stories, direct messages, or follower information beyond what is needed to publish content. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time through the Service settings or through Instagram's settings at instagram.com.
How Publishing Works
Content is only published to your Instagram account when you explicitly approve it through the Service (by tapping “Post to Instagram”), unless you have opted into automatic posting. You can review and edit all content before it is published.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:
Within Your Brokerage: Other members of your brokerage on the platform may see content generated from your listings and your published Instagram posts for team coordination purposes.
Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate the Service, including cloud hosting, SMS delivery (Twilio), push notifications, and AI content generation (Anthropic). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
Meta / Instagram: When you publish content through the Service, we transmit your approved content (images and text) to Instagram's API for publishing to your account.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
6. Data Retention
Account Data: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Access Tokens: Instagram access tokens are stored in encrypted form and are deleted when you disconnect your account or when they expire.
Published Post Records: Records of content published through the Service (post IDs, timestamps) are retained to support team engagement features and analytics.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive data such as social media access tokens and secure transmission of data via HTTPS.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information in your account
- Delete your account and associated data
- Disconnect any connected social media accounts at any time
- Opt out of push notifications and SMS messages through your account settings

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy

12. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
13. Meta Platform Terms
Our use of information received from Meta APIs (including the Instagram Graph API) adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We only request permissions necessary to provide the Service's core functionality (publishing content on your behalf) and do not use this data for any other purpose.
